Best product I have used for keeping the bed dry. As a side-sleeper it is pretty common for briefs to leak and the Protec Briefs do a great job of containing it.
Only improvement I would suggest is stronger threads to hold the velcro to the waist belt, so it does not become separated before the product wears out.

Very good product. First, they are not infantilizing in appearance like most waterproof pants. They also are much cooler than plastic or PUL pants. And finally they put a stop to leaks, which means I could remove the waterproof liner on my bed which allows me to sleep cooler and more comfortably. I will say too, that one of the pairs I purchased did leak through one of the seams a few times, and Protec stood behind their guarantee and shipped me a replacement with no questions asked. It is a pricey product, but I imagine that I have already recouped the cost by saving on laundry, not to mention just being able to sleep so much better and not having to worry about waking up cold and wet.

I typically wear either a pull-up style disposable or just a reusable cloth pull-up for really inconsistent bedwetting. I had previously had leaks in the leg gathers or back. These pants solve this with a high back and long legs. They also don’t overheat the way a plastic pant would which I really appreciate. They rinse and wash and dry surprising well considering how much they could absorb.

Protec tends to exaggerate their product’s performance, but I guess that’s advertising. Yes, they are absorbent but not leakproof. I found that by morning I had to not only change them , but the waterproof pad on my bed as well.
I’m still trying to find the perfect product for my problem.
For the cost, these should be the answer but not this time.

Runs quite small. I wear a 3X in many styles of clothing, but the 3X and 4X Protec briefs do not fit me - they are cut narrow in derriere and very narrow in the waist. I do love the concept & and the material is of good quality, and I'm hoping a larger size will fit me.

Wish I knew about this sooner it had helped with my bed wetting problems . I have a 36 inch waist and a large fits me perfectly they are very comfortable and like other reviews said they do feel like gym shorts they are a little warm but who cares they do what there suppose to do is keep your bedding dry ! I will definitely buy more soon so I have a couple of pairs when I do leak though! Thanks for everything

I absolutely LOVE these. They are so comfortable and secure it is unbelievable. I'm 6'5" and 185 lbs. The size smalls fit me perfectly. It is so comforting knowing that if my disposable absorbent briefs do leak, there is no chance the bed will get wet. Good bye, underpads!

I really wish I knew about these a long time ago. Let me tell you, they are awesome. I had ordered a xl but thought it was just a little to loose so ordered a large and fit a little snug but that's what I like. Feel better secured. Definitely, like someone else said in another review. If you just can't ever seem to get a right fit with a taped or hook n loop diaper. These will end that immediately. Highly recommend them

These have been great for eliminating nighttime leaks. Even with a high absorbency diaper, I often leak due to my overnight urine output. These also help support the weight of a wet diaper, and they keep the front panel of disposables upright against my belly to help prevent leaks in the front. The only thing that I wish were different is that they can get a little warm. (However, without the thick material, they probably wouldn’t be as absorbent.) A taller back panel and wider belt would be nice, but that’s not a big issue. I may try a larger size.

I know I can toss and turn a lot at night, and when an accident happens, sometimes protection doesn't work. But with these, I've never had an issue with an leaks. They work good and are kind of stylish.

These ProTec covers are so comfortable and they hold things up well even by the end of the day, I have no more worries at night even on my side, it's like freedom restored. They have plenty of absorption and don't even fell wet when there's been a little pushout, Amazing product! I only wish that they would develop a product this comfortable and supportive for when I'm out of the house or at work, they are thick and not very discreet, so hiding them under clothing will be difficult, but they don't cut off circulation or chaffe my legs like all other covers. Customer support as well is A+++ they worked with me on sizing and were very prompt on response, thank you for caring!

So I ordered a xl because someone had said order a size up. Thought it was too loose so ordered a size large. We'll see how this one fits. I mean I absolutely flooded my tykables waddlers with a rearz booster. Didn't have any leaks. Just the fit was loose. Can't wait to get normal size large. All in all great concept.

These work great at night. If your diaper leaks they keep the sheets dry. Washing them is easy and they dry quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone that has incontinence issues.

Very effective and comfortable night time diaper cover. It finally feels OK to walk around as they look like a comfortable pair of gym shorts. Sleep is better with added confidence, peace of mind and confidence. Sundering is a bit of a challenge, but not impossible. A bit pricy, but worth the investment.

I ride a recumbent trike and used these for bike shorts along with an onesie. I weigh 214 lbs 6'1 and got a large. (I plan on losing some pounds).

Order a Size Up!
I just received my ProtecBrief size large and have had a couple days to try it out. First off I'm impressed with the quality of the product. The fabric, padding, and construction are all top notch. With proper care these things will probably last a lifetime.
The brief by itself is pretty thick, and when put over a diaper just makes it thicker. On most days I wear an Abena Abri-form L4, or a Northshore Mega Max when I'm feeling like I need some extra protection, and with both diapers I am not able to touch my knees together due to the thickness. If you're in the ABDL camp, I imagine this would be a huge plus for you. The ProtecBrief is very comfortable to wear, and I've enjoyed just wearing it over my diaper around the house. No need for pants. I wouldn't wear it out to the store or anything, it is painfully obvious that it covers a diaper, and I find that it's too much fabric to wear jeans over it. But for just being at home, it's wonderful.
The ProtecBrief functions as advertised. For a couple nights now I've gone to bed after drinking more liquids than I should, and while the diaper was flooded by morning, my bed and PJ's stayed dry! And I'm a stomach/side sleeper!
The price is a bit expensive. Be ready for a sticker shock! I think I paid around $80+ USD for a single brief after taxes and shipping. That's more than I spend on a case of diapers. The pricing on this does go on par with a lot of cloth style diapers on the market, and the construction and reusability does offset the initial investment. Honestly, a dry bed is worth it! Doing laundry at 4 am sucks, and is a horrible way to start my day because once I'm up I'm up.
The only real criticism I have is the sizing. If you're going to order one, you may want to order a size up from what you think you should be wearing. I ordered a size Large, because based off the sizing chart that's what I should be wearing, but once I got it over the diaper it started to fit a little too snugly. Next time I order I know better.
Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I will likely be buying one or two more just so I can have a couple extras.

My insides are messed up. I've been incontinent for many years. Protec Briefs are by far the best leak protection available on the market today. Far better than plastic or rubber pants. Which degrade over time and are very hot in the summer. Protec Briefs are comfortable,durable, and don't trap heat. They're amazing.

Compared to the very very first version, it is much better. The legs are a bit narrower, which is perfect for ME (YMMV) and the wing is wider with wider hook&loop. I would like the back to be a bit higher, it is just barely higher than the back of the high end diaper (megamax), meaning it could easily leak (the main reason I use this product).
Other than the back height, it works very well, and does not look like an incontinence product. I'm planning to use it with a cheaper diaper for biking (recumbent tricycle) as it looks very much like a biking short.

Protecbriefs provide a safe and secure night's sleep. Worn with night diapers, I sleep without worrying about waking to a wet bed. One morning, I did awaken to the waistband being wet from seepage and my bed was dry! They are easy to launder with other clothes. There is a bit of added bulk as they cover my diaper. The adjustable waistband provides a perfect fit. A+!

These are brilliant, firstly they look more like normal underwear than conventional covers, they are comfortable to wear over your protection and offers me additional reassurance that if a leak does happen it will catch it.
It is great for those of us who are side sleepers and the extended leg areas are much better at catching leaks from leg guards it has saved my bed and other furniture on more than one occasion.
They are easy to wash to boot, and dry quickly, all in all a brilliant product will be buying more

Totally the perfect product! It’s really a life saver when it comes to leaks as it can be super troublesome and embarrassing especially having a meal outside. The waistband comes in handy especially when the leak travels to the waist area while sleeping too. The pants is super versatile, snug and soft which makes it feel natural like wearing an actual pants sometimes!

Incredibly helpful if you are a side sleeper, I could not find anything that worked until I tried these and finally no longer wake up and have to strip the bedding to wash it.
